Our salts are purchased from a manufacturer who only uses natural, solar-dried sea salts. According to the manufacturer, these sea salts contain no known allergens, and exhibit no microbiological activity. Because they are natural and unbleached, they sometimes contain small discolored or black particles which occur naturally in salts.
